The Boom Huis in Brits Road, Pretoria North, is a Gifts and Arts Shop, as well as a Function Venue for kids and adult birthday parties, weddings, kitchen teas and many other functions. There is a picnic and braai area at Boom Huis, and a tea garden/tuckshop which is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 8am to 5pm.

Saturday, October 12, 2013. 9:00am until 1:00pm; Cost R280; Jan & Joanna Geldenhuys will present a Tokreen workshop at Boomhuis.co.za; The cost of the workshop is R280pp and includes 500ml Tokreen, metallic brush paints x 2, brush, egg carton, absorbent paper, hessian, wooden frame and chicken ornaments; Refreshments will be served.
